Meet the 7 Twenty-Nine Team
Welcome friends!
I'm Tara Bustamante owner and photographer. I love using natural light to capture bright, joyful, energetic images. My work is a celebration of life and movement. I have a special place in my heart for dancers and athletes, honestly I just love the pure intensity of action shots! My background from Texas Tech is in art and journalism. I spent 18 years teaching art and it is a huge passion of mine! I am married to an incredible guy, and together we have three awesome kids. When I'm not at photoshoots you will find me at the ice rink with our youngest or the soccer fields with our middle child!
My right hand lady- Lisa Garrison is my details guru! Lisa helps keep shoots running smoothly, and has an incredible eye for design and details! Lisa's background is in interior design from UNT and is incredible at styling sets and flat lays! When Lisa is not with me she is loving life on the coast soaking up the joys of being an empty nester with a beach house! Lisa is invaluable- making sure every hair, piece of clothing, and pose are on point.
My creative director- Anne Motl is my dance expert! I am so excited to have Anne's incredible vision, creativity, and expertise on dance sessions! She will make sure every line, expression and pose is pure perfection! She studied at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She is currently on faculty at The Dance Studio Network and is the Director for both McKinney Dance Studio's Company Stars and Ballet Company. In 2003, she Co-Founded NorthWest Dance Syndrome, a collaborative modern dance company. This is where she discovered her love for dance film and dance photography. She was part of several creative projects that involved dance for stage, dance for film, and dance photography.
